ABS is a durable, rigid thermoplastic used in most consumer products available today.
P400 is CIDEAS general purpose ABS material. The highest heat deflection ABS material offered by CIDEAS; P400 is an excellent choice for conceptual, functional and design verification prototypes. It is also commonly used in Additive Manufacturing (AM) due to its strength, accuracy and repeatability.
Available in multiple colors, P400 ABS, utilizing the FDM process, may be printed in standard and high resolution. Aside from prototypes, parts may be used for jigs, fixtures, thermalforming molds, or produced with a sparse honeycomb interior for weight savings. Sanded primed, plated, or painted P400 ABS models make excellent production parts, which are strong and long lasting.
