Produced exclusively by C.ideas, ABS/F1 is a durable rigid thermoplastic with a high gloss finish.
For most applications Standard ABS has better surface finish characteristics and a higher heat deflection than ABS/F1. However, ABS/F1 has a higher tensile strength and flexural modulus, making it ideal for applications that require more brute than beauty. ABS/F1 (FDM) is currently available in high gloss; natural (cream) & black.
ABS/F1 utilizing the FDM process, may be printed in standard or high resolution, depending on the specific application. Aside from prototypes, ABS/F1 parts may be used as jigs, fixtures, handles, or produced with a sparse honeycomb interior for weight savings. Sanded primed, plated or painted models make excellent production parts, which are strong and long lasting.
