Polyjet offers speed, quality and resolution at a surprisingly affordable price. Although we have the option for high and low res modes, C.ideas only produces Polyjet parts in the highest available layer setting, an astonishing 0.0006" (16 µ). This means smoother more accurate parts, faster and typically less expensive than our competitors. In fact, most high-res Polyjet jobs are processed and shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed.
Perfect for fit, function & conceptual models that require smooth contour surfaces and unparalleled detail as fine as 0.005" (text) and walls as thin as 0.010" (flat, orientation, non load bearing small walls). No other process except MJM HR, offers contour curves as smooth as Polyjet, without the need for additional post processing.
Aside from 6 fantastic rigid materials to choose from. We also offer 3 "Tango" elastomers (27a, 61a & 75a), which are now available with our exclusive in-house soaking process called C.ideas "GT". There is a very minor up-charge for "GT", but the strength is superior to any Tango; black, grey or plus parts offered by any other bureau.
Outstanding resolution and smooth surfaces make it excellent for presentation, master patterns & DDM applications.
Polyjet parts are easily painted for use as marketing models; ideal for photo shoots or trade shows.
Extremely fast lead-times for parts smaller than 4" x 4" x 4"
Best elastomer printed parts.
Highly accurate small parts, excellent for large quantities.
Available in multiple colors.
Excellent repeatability for DDM (Direct Digital Manufacturing) applications. Typical Lead-times 1 to 2 days with same day service available in certain areas.
Polyjet models can be built up to: 19.7" x 15.7" x 7.9" (500mm x 400mm x 200mm).
Although not recommended or typical for the process, larger models can be sectioned and assembled upon completion.
Print Resolution: X-Axis: 600 dpi (42 µ), Y-Axis: 600 dpi (42 µ), Z-Axis: 1200 dpi (16 µ)
High Resolution Slice: 0.0006" (16 µ) (C.ideas only uses the highest resolution settings)
Standard Layer Slice: 0.0011" (28 µ)
Accuracy: +/- .005" for first 3 inches, +/- .0005" inch per inch thereafter.
Great part repeatability.
Smooth surface with no visible layer lines, Contour surfaces smooth when built in any direction. Great text, filigree and small detailed features.

- Polyjet instead of FDM
- Polyjet instead of SLA
- Polyjet instead of Urethane Casted Parts
Much higher resolution, fantastic for extremely small intricate parts such as gears, text and features with details smaller than 0.020" Polyjet is typicaly less expensive for very small parts in quantities of 100+.
Parts are smooth without any sanding or vapor honing, thus more accurate when immediately used for fit. Small Polyjet parts are often a fraction of the price of the same SLA parts, have much faster leadtimes, finer details & smoother features.
Polyjet offers very fast multiples on smaller parts with intricate features, yet cost a fraction of the price per part. Elastomer/Rubber parts (although not as strong) can be delivered within one to two days and eliminate the costly mold.
Most Polyjet parts are shipped once the support material is removed. However, some additional services are available.
Painting; Most models can be primed, sanded and painted to match a color chip or specific Pantone color.
Shielding; Parts can be sprayed with an EMI shield or Static dissipative coating.
Available metal coatings; vacuum metallizing, painted chrome (with different tints available) & electroplating in nickle, polished or unpolished. Call if a custom metal "look" is required".
Tango Elastomer/Rubber parts can be soaked using the C.ideas "GT" Process for the most superior elasticity and strength.
